Better than a Hot Dog

So every once in awhile I let the kids choose what we have for dinner. Sully got to choose for this last sunday. He chose one of his all time favorites, spaghetti and meatballs.

We get sat down for dinner, dish up, have prayer and he takes his first bite. He looks at me and announces " Yummm, this is better than a hot dog!"

Wow, what a compliment!

Up Late

Guess who fell asleep at 3:30 this afternoon on the way into pick up Daddy from work? And guess who didn't get up til 9:00pm? And guess who is now wide awake playing PSP with Daddy at 12:03am?

Guess who else didn't want to go to sleep til 11:45pm? Mr. Finn loves to sit at the computer with us and try his hardest to get the keys. Oh, the boys I love!

The Superbowl Shuffle

Like charging in to an ice cold river for a swim and only getting waist deep the shock of this video caused a torrent of memories to come flooding back.

I was only nine years old but I still remember the 1985 Chicago bears. There was a tough team. Chicago has a way of making tough teams, maybe it's the cold weather. I can even remember two of my all time favorite players William "The Refrigerator" Perry and Mike Singletary, one of the greatest linebackers of all time.

Did you know they had a song...well they do. I came across it while I was looking on YouTube for something totally unrelated. What a was a total blast from the past. I can remember standing on our driveway in Maryland blasting it on my boombox for all to hear. I thought I remembered this song, but seeing something again you haven't seen for a while has a way of reminding us how poor our memory really is. Without further ado, I give you the 1985 Chicago Bears and "The Superbowl Shuffle".

Apparently this video was removed for copyright reasons...dang. Well I managed to find it here!

Sonic Rays of Sunshine

Last night I went to the store to pick up some things for Brandi while I was there I picked a game for my PSP called "Loco Roco". It's absolutely fantastic! It's easily one of the most clever games I've ever played. It's hard not to have fun when you are playing this game, it makes you happy just to listen to it. As soon as you turn it on a choir of cracked out japanese kids start singing sonic rays of sunshine. Seriously, play ten minutes of this game with it's music set to medium, go straight to the bathroom, gag yourself and I promise you, you will puke a rainbow.

The kids and I spent all morning play this game. We were laughing and joking so much Sully had to take two pee breaks and Amara was crying.

This will give you a taste of what this game is all about!!

Here is a video review of the game.

Wonder Twins

Just a couple of superheroes hanging out on the stoop. Obviously, this is a picture from Halloween but I like it and wanted to try a couple post so I could get the hang of this thing.
