Remembering Walt

My step-grandfather Walt past away this last week. He'd been sick for awhile so it was expected but it's always sad to lose someone. They had his funeral today which we were not able to attend, but my thoughts have been there with my family today.

Walt married my grandma after my grandpa passed away 10-11 years ago. He was a good man who loved my grandma and all of her family, which is not a small task. He was always happy and fun to be around. He was the only great-grandpa my kids new on that side of the family and he was always very loving to them. He was able to give my grandma companionship, travel, and love. For that I am very grateful. He will be missed!

Yes, Grandpa Walt was a great man who really did love and take care of our Grandma. He will be missed by us but especially by Grandma. His funeral was a great tribute to him and the kindness he showed to everyone. We missed have the Devericks with us this last few days of being together as a big extended family. I wish everyone was as lucky as I am when it came to family.

Thanks, Sis for the lovely tribute to your Grandpa-Walt.
These past few weeks have been filled with emotion as the realization of him returning home beyond the veil became apparent.
The only down side to his leaving, is leaving his Sweet companion behind, in a state of sadness and confusion.
Grandmother and Grandpa Walt celebrated their 10th Anniversary last December. She will greatly miss him, as will we all.
There were over100 at the Family Prayer prior to the Funeral.
Grandmother said that she knows that Grandpa Gunter, Grandpa Walt and his Eternal companion Irene are having a great reunion and she is very sad to be missing it. (All in due time)
We are all very grateful for Grandpa Walt Anderson.
Love Mom (Margo)
