Baby Clark's Blankie

My littlest sister, Jeni, is having her first baby come June. They just recently found out it's a little boy. His name will be Clark. We are very excited to finally have a cousin close to us. Amara was just giving Jeni advice as to what to do when he starts walking. I sat down and made this quilt for him the other day. It's one of our favorites that I've done so far.

Quilt # 4

Here is my 4th quilt. I actually finished 2 this week and got the material for my next one yesterday. This one went to my friend Marie M. who is expecting a little boy in 2 weeks. I love the turtles the most! Eric took some better pictures of the quilts and Sully was the model. The first picture is so cute I just couldn't leave it off.

Quilt # 3

I decided that making baby quilts might be a passion of mine. I was longing to do something besides watch T.V. in the evenings, and so I've found joy in creating quilts. This is my 3rd, I finished in a day and a half. I have already got my 4th half way done. It's really fun. The funnest part is going to the fabric store and picking out the materials. This one is going to a cousin of mine who is expecting her first baby next month.

The Next Big Ouchie

So the boys and I had to take a little trip to Les Schwab the other day cause the silver car had a bolt in the tire. While we were there, enjoying our free popcorn and water, Finn tripped over Sully and came down right on the leg of a chair. He started to cry and when he turned around there was a huge goose egg with a big purple line down it on his forehead. I was feeling like a totally bad mom until I took him to nursery on Sunday and 5 out of the 8 kids in there had some kind of head/face injury. I guess it's just the age. It's amazing how cute he is even with a huge bump on his noggin!
